Acceptance of these terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Lily for Digital Invitations ("Lily," "we," "us," or "our"), operated from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, governing your use of our website and the creation, personalization, purchase, sharing, and RSVP of digital invitations (the "Service"). By checking the acceptance box when creating an account or completing a purchase, or by otherwise accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old — the age of legal capacity under Jordanian law — to create an account or make a purchase on the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. Guests responding to an RSVP without creating an account do not need to meet this age requirement, but should have their parent or guardian's permission if they are under 18.

Your account

When you register, you agree to provide accurate information and to verify your phone number by the SMS code we send you. You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity on your account. Tell us immediately at info@lilycardsjo.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or block an account that provides false information, is used fraudulently or abusively, or otherwise violates these Terms.

Description of the service

Lily lets you browse a catalog of digital invitation templates, personalize one with your own text, photos, and event details, purchase it, and share it with your guests via a private link. Guests can view the invitation and, where enabled, submit an RSVP that you can view as the invitation's owner. We may add, change, or remove features, templates, or functionality at any time, and we don't guarantee that any specific template or feature will remain available indefinitely.

Templates, content, and intellectual property

All templates, designs, graphics, fonts, and other creative assets made available on the Service are owned by Lily or our licensors and protected by intellectual property law. When you purchase and personalize an invitation, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use that specific finished invitation for your own personal, non-commercial event — you may not resell, sublicense, redistribute the underlying template, or use it to build a competing product. Our name, logo, and branding may not be used without our prior written permission.

Your content and acceptable use

You keep ownership of any text, photos, or other content you or your guests upload while personalizing an invitation or submitting an RSVP ("Your Content"). By submitting it, you grant Lily a license to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service (for example, showing your photo on your invitation, or your guest's RSVP answer to you). You confirm you have the right to submit Your Content and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights. You agree not to use the Service to: upload content that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, or infringes a third party's rights; harass, impersonate, or defraud anyone; upload malware or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems; scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service; or attempt to circumvent our security, rate-limiting, or invitation-link privacy controls.

Pricing, currency, and payment

Prices for templates and any add-ons are shown in Jordanian Dinar (JOD) before you check out. Because our payment processor, Stripe, cannot settle transactions in JOD, your card is charged the equivalent amount in US Dollars, converted at the exchange rate in effect at the time of purchase (based on the Central Bank of Jordan's official rate). Payment is processed securely by Stripe under its own terms; by making a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service applicable to cardholders. You confirm that any payment details you provide are your own or that you're authorized to use them.

Orders, delivery, and refunds

Your invitation is a digital, personalized product created specifically for you, and is delivered as soon as your payment is confirmed, via a shareable link and, where applicable, an account created for you. Because each invitation is custom-made to your specifications, purchases are generally final and non-refundable once your personalization has been used to generate the invitation — consistent with the treatment of personalized goods under Jordanian consumer protection law. We will provide a replacement, correction, or refund at our discretion if: you were charged more than once for the same order; you experienced a technical failure that prevented your invitation from being delivered; or the invitation you received is materially different from what was described at the time of purchase. To request this, contact info@lilycardsjo.com within 7 days of your purchase with your order details.

Guest personalization and RSVPs

If you're personalizing an invitation before purchasing it, anything you upload or type (including a replacement photo) is processed to build a preview of your invitation and is not attributed to any identity until you complete a purchase. If you're an invitation host, you're responsible for the accuracy of the RSVP form fields you configure and for how you use the RSVP responses you receive — for example, you should not use guests' contact details for purposes unrelated to your event without their consent.

Invitation link privacy and one-device access

To protect a couple's or host's privacy, a private invitation link may be configured to open on only the first device that accesses it — this is a security feature, not a technical limitation of your device, and is designed to prevent a link from being casually forwarded or accessed by someone it wasn't intended for. If you believe you've been incorrectly locked out of an invitation meant for you, contact the invitation's host, or contact us at info@lilycardsjo.com for assistance.

Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Stripe (payments), Cloudinary (media hosting), Twilio (SMS), Resend (email), Google and Apple (sign-in), and infrastructure and security providers. We're not responsible for outages, errors, or losses caused by these providers' systems, though we'll do our best to help resolve any issue that affects you. Your use of these sign-in and payment options is also subject to each provider's own terms.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you've violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or abusive behavior, or used the Service in a way that risks harm to us, other users, or third parties. You may stop using the Service at any time; because we don't currently offer automated self-service account deletion, contact info@lilycardsjo.com to request that your account be closed, and we'll action it manually subject to our data retention obligations described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by Jordanian law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Lily's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim, and we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Jordanian law, including the Consumer Protection Law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Lily, its owners, and staff harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, content you submit, or your violation of these Terms or of any third party's rights.

Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us first at info@lilycardsjo.com so we can try to resolve it directly; as a consumer, you may also raise a complaint with the Consumer Protection Directorate at Jordan's Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have to bring a claim elsewhere, the competent courts of Amman, Jordan will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we increase the version number, email every registered user, and ask you to confirm your acceptance of the updated Terms the next time you check out. Continuing to use the Service after being notified of a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms for any use that doesn't require a fresh checkout confirmation.
